Tour the room
See the classroom your child would join and meet the teachers who run it. You can ask how the morning or afternoon flows and what the children do at the table. Tours help you picture your child in the room. Call or email to set one up.

Enroll and settle in
Once you decide, complete the enrollment forms to hold your child's spot. Roster spots are filled on a first-come-first-served basis, so reach out early. We are still enrolling for the 2026-2027 term in our 3-year-old and 4-year-old classes and the Full-Day Enrichment Program for 4's. Then plan a first week that fits your child's routine, and ask us what to expect.
What to have ready
Most families bring enrollment forms and a health form with an immunization record. You will also need emergency contacts and the names of people allowed to pick up your child. We can tell you exactly which forms to complete and when.
Pack a full change of clothes in a labeled bag, even for children who are past accidents. Add outdoor gear for the season, hats and mittens in winter, a sun hat in summer. Nap items and a small comfort object help if your child stays for the full day.
Before the first day, decide who will drop off and who will pick up, and make sure both names are on the list. Tell us how your child settles best and what soothes them. Ask how you prefer to hear about the day so we can share what matters to you.
The first weeks
First days often start with a shorter visit and a familiar object from home. A teacher greets your child by name at the door and shows them where to put their bag. You can stay nearby until your child turns toward the room.
At pickup, teachers tell you what your child played, ate, and who they sat with. They will share one small moment from the day. Most children settle into the routine within a few weeks, and you can ask for an update any time.

Can we visit before deciding?
A tour is the best way to decide, because you can see the rooms, meet the teachers, and watch how the day flows. Children come along on tours, and they can look at the books, toys and art areas while you talk.
What should my child bring on the first day?
For a first day, families usually pack a labeled change of clothes and a comfort item like a small stuffed animal or blanket. Everything your child brings should have their name on it. A water bottle is handy too.

Teachers talk with you at pickup about what your child did that day. If you want more detail, you can ask at drop-off or send a note. We share what we notice, from new words to new friends.
Do you offer part-time or flexible schedules?
Schedules depend on your child's age group and what openings we have. Call or email us to ask which days and times are available for your child.
What if there is no place right now?
If a spot is not open for your child's age right now, you can ask us to let you know when one becomes available. We will tell you as soon as we can.
