In the 4-year-old room, children work on letters, numbers, and writing their names. They build with blocks, paint, and play in learning centers. Four teachers guide a class of no more than 30 students. Activities are academically driven, with play-based learning mixed in. Children practice sharing, taking turns, and following directions.
Three-year-olds settle into a room set up for discovery. They sort shapes, stack blocks, and listen to stories. Four teachers stay with a class of no more than 30 children. Play-based learning builds early academic, social, and emotional skills. Children learn to share, wait their turn, and use words with friends.
The Full-Day Enrichment Program for 4's gives children more of the day than a morning class. Space in this program is limited to 15 children. They stay for more play, projects, and outdoor time. Teachers plan activities that stretch attention and curiosity. Children eat, rest, and keep learning into the afternoon.
